The Discovery

In deep meditation high in the Himalayas, a yogi received a vision: a small white-and-gold flower blooming defiantly on a storm-swept black shore, radiating a quiet, protective power. He did not know its name — only that he had to find it.
The search led him to an Icelandic inventor and adventurer, who recognised the shore from the yogi's description and brought him north. Together, on the salt-blasted coast of Iceland, they found the exact flower of the vision: Baldursbrá — the brow of Baldur, the brightest of the Norse gods.
Icelanders had known it all along. For centuries, folk tradition turned to Baldursbrá to soothe, strengthen and restore. The vision and the old knowledge pointed to the same truth.
